Areca Backup

 

Areca Backup is used to make backups and comes with many efficient tools. It has been written in Java under the GPL2 license.

The program includes:

• Backup compression.

• Triple DES and AES encryption.

• Configurable filters for use with copies.

• File recovery.

• Full backup support.

• Creation of reports and delivery by email.

• Permissions management.

• File merging.

• Backup integrity checks.


 

In order to use Areca Backup you have to meet the following system requirements:
